Every so often at work the only thing I seem to do is code which I love to begin with but eventually hate (well kind of hate - hate in the way a parent hates an ungrateful child I guess, I don’t know as I don’t have any children but I’ll assume). Then other times there only seems to be loads of flash ads that need to be created, shown, amended, shown, amended and finally approved (they always seem to be the most tedious though, probably because of file size problems and the fact the client hasn’t got the four page story they wanted in the space of a Skyscraper or banner ad!). Then the thing that I always want to have land on my desk some real design work, but even this is starting to get to me at the moment.

Since what feels like forever the company I work for, GRP (Guy Robertson Partnership), has been working on a new design and build for, Highland Spring, a bottled water company based in Perthshire who happen to sponsor big names such as, Andy Murray (the Scottish tennis player who is currently ranked 3rd in the world). I am pleased to say though that as of the beginning of last week (18th May 2009) the site has officially gone live to the public.

At the moment supermarkets in the UK have decided that if you look under the age of 25 they have the right to ask for proof of age, which doesn’t bother me because I always carry my drivers license in wallet anway since even though I am 24 I do look a little bit younger so I’m used to providing proof of age.

Late last week during some down time at work I decided to create a new portfolio site for myself and in typical fashion when creating something for yourself the quicker it’s complete the better because if you’re anything like me you’ll be fed up with it by the time its live.
